Then determine a new demographic for the product and design to appeal to them. Design on a functional mechanical of the box, which is your responsibility to construct through precise measurements. If you mess it up it'll get smashed.

This project was a challenge for me. On day one of our many rounds of critique, I presented my attempt at the mechanical. One by one the class decides whose mechanical was the worst standing. . . and then smashed it. Mine lasted two rounds before it was crumpled. I persevered, but not without a bruised ego.

Hank's redesign's mechanical layout
My dad is from Pennsylvania and would consistently make me drive the 25 hours out to his home town when I was a child. Just him, me, and the children's music radio station if I was lucky. I hated that drive, but I loved the time with him. The soda company I chose, Hank's, is from Philly, but my dad has never tried it.
